Before your vampire facial at Katalyst Wellness, we ensure your skin is clean and makeup-free. We draw a small amount of your blood, approximately 2 teaspoons, directly from a vein in your arm. This blood is then processed in a centrifuge machine to create Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) concentration, which takes about 15 minutes.

While your PRP is being prepared, your skin is cleansed for the treatment. We apply a numbing cream for your comfort. Next, we use a micro-needling device to create tiny, shallow needle wounds in your skin. Then, the PRP is applied and massaged back into your skin. This process stimulates healing, reducing wrinkles and improving skin texture!

You may experience some redness and skin sensitivity, but there’s minimal downtime. Typically, redness subsides within 1 to 4 days. Your skin will feel tighter, and you can resume your regular skincare routine, including makeup, after 48 hours.
